Background
The Care and Maintenance of
Individual Cases in Nepal (CMICN) is a sub project
jointly initiated by the UNHCR and Pro Public
for providing care and assistance to urban mandate
refugees and asylum-seekers in accordance with
the assistance policies and guidelines developed
by UNHCR Kathmandu. The focus of the project is
to support urban mandate needy refugees by providing
monthly Subsistence Allowance (SA), Emergency
assistance to vulnerable cases, medical care through
identified local medical facilities and facilitates
educational and vocational training assistance
to the refugees in accordance with the UNHCR guidelines.
