  Work in Collaboration

The GGP has been closely working with its collaborative partners, viz. CIAA, OAG, GGCs, CDOs to promote good governance in the country. The GGP together with the CIAA has printed five different stickers with different anti-corruption slogans. The stickers carry the following messages:

The honest are welcome! No entry for the corrupt !
Entry forbidden if you have committed corruption !
Beware of the corrupt !
Bar the bribe-takers from your kitchen !
We are against corruption !

More than 17,000 anti-corruption stickers have been posted onto the offices of public concern in different parts of the country. The GGP has received a high demand for the stickers from GOs, NGOs and GGCs. Likewise, more than one hundred thousand peace stickers have been posted on public vehicles in collaboration with Federation of National Transport Entrepreneurs. Recognizing the performance of the GGP, the government has begun inviting GGP in decision-making and implementation process of the different government policies. During the past three years, GGP's senior officials have been invited to contribute as members for the following committees formed by His Majesty’s Government of Nepal.

Doctors’ Consultation Fee Fixation Committee
Quality Control of Petroleum Products Committee
Petroleum Products Price Fixation Committee
Kerosene Adulteration Reduction Committee

The mindset of authorities is slowly changing through “critical awareness” and “zero tolerance against corruption”. This is a step towards building a “highway of good governance” by empowering the “demand side” of governance.
