With an objective to provide scholarship to the
bright Dalit (untouchable) girl students for pursuing
higher studies (10+2), Pro Public has established
a small fund from its own resources since 1998.
The scholarships are being provided to two girl
students scoring the highest marks in School Leaving
Certificate exams annually.
Pro Public has set up a small grant for scholarship
to students of the backward communities. It has
been providing a grant of Rs 1000 per month for
maximum of two academic years to help the needy
students to pursue higher studies. Pro Public
also appeals to all people and parties to extend
financial support so that your small help can
be a stepping stone for the disadvantaged to continue
their higher education. Until now, the following
eight students have received Pro Public Scholarship
